Nowadays, Fiverr freelancing platform is becoming an important source of income for various people. mostly, people uses Fiverr as their full time work too and some are using it as part time. Fiverr is mostly well known for its way to use. It is both beginner friendly(if you don't have any previous freelancing experience) and for professionals also can earn alot through it.
Some important ways you should know to use Fiverr in correct way to become successful:
Set up your complete profile
The first thing after joining any freelancing platform(in this case we'll be talking about Fiverr) is completing your profile. The first thing client will see before hiring you is your profile. So, completing profile is most important thing to get client's and start earning.
Firstly, a good profile pic(photo). Showing your face clearly, slightly smiling towards camera. Try not to put any fancy picture as your profile pic. Next, a good description of yourself. Your description should be of medium size not too small and not too large. It should contain your skills in which you are good. And some thing about yourself anything you wanna tell your client so that they can trust you (If any). Next section is about your certifications. If you got any certifications or any achivements in your life matching your skills you can update certifications section with that. And you can also add your other social accounts such as Facebook, Google etc.
After doin' all this things (completing your profile), It provides the client a trust, a satisfaction that he/she can give you project and can work together for more projects if they wished.
Create professional gigs
Your gig which you will create should spread positive professionalism by your way of presentation. Always try to add an short video into your gig and try to explain in that about your skills and how you will complete your project. It will increase your chances to get into clients heart and he/she will award project to you. Rather than video you should add 3 images in your gig about your previous projects/ portfolio or anything related to you gig skills. But, keep in mind that the images should be made or designed by you only for some writing and translation type related gigs. Fiverr don't support google images in that type.
After all you can add awesome description to your gig explaning more about skills and gig. But, make sure don't copy any others description. By doin' that your gig ranking will never goes up. Fiverr algorithm works for unique and good description. So, be sure to add your own written description. You can surely read and take an idea what other successful Fiverr people have written in their gig and write it in your own language for your gig.
Use Fiverr's Buyer request option
By this time till now, only Fiverr is one freelancing platform who introduces buyer request section for freelancers. If you are a beginner or a college student who wanna earn online using his/her skills then, Fiverr is one of the best choice for you. Mainly using Fiverr's buyer request section too most of the freelancer's got projects and earning a alot.
If you are new to freelancing journey and you opt to work using Fiverr. Then, search if you are getting orders by your gigs. If not, then without time wasting go for buyer request option. Mostly on an average most clients chosses to put their project details on buyer request section and then a freelancer can bid on that project if his/her skills matching the project details. And then, the client hires the most eligible freelancer to complete that project.

No worries, i'll tell you, Mostly clients hires the freelancer who is best on his/her skills and can complete project as early as possible with full accuracy. So, remember when you write a proposal on client's project, write everything you know about your skills matching that project. But, show the professionalism by your writing and write in such a way that he can belives in you can trust you. Once you got project Complete work as soon as possible and submit to your client by that may he will hire you for more projects and will give you a good review. The most important chance you can get project through buyer's request is be online and once you saw some project in buyer's section matching your skills then, try to be the first who proposes client about their project. If client likes your proposal then, its high chance to get you a project and you can win!!!
Set an affordable price
A good looking gig alone won’t do the magic. To win a project you and if you are a newbie you should set your gig price low starting from $5. Most clients try to complete their work through freelancer in few money. Fiverr's ranking algorithm always gives a change to your gig and will rank at top if price set is to be high. But if you are a beginner and just starting Fiverr freelancing my suggestion is to keep your gig price low. There's a high chance you can win a project.
And further after getting some reviews, after getting some experience start raising price as i said Fiverr ranks higher price rated and higher reviews rated gigs. As you raised prices chances of getting project simulteneously increases and helps you in earning more.
Gather reviews
Once you’ve created your low-priced gig, you should be able to land your first projects quickly. Since Fiverr is a platform where reviews and recommendations matter the most, these first projects are really important. You will clearly recognize that after you’ve received your first 5-star reviews, your rankings will be much better, in general. Hence, it is definitely worth to do some work almost for free upfront if you get some good reviews for that in return. So, make sure that you definitely overdeliver in your first projects and be as pleasant as possible to the client or customer. In general, most customers are already satisfied if you communicate clearly and regularly with them and additionally deliver everything on time.
This simple strategy I laid down in this article worked perfectly for my niche — web design services. However, I have to admit that there are probably sections on Fiverr where this approach isn’t that easy applicable. For instance, most logo design gigs start already at $5.
